German

On occasion, my German roots demand some attention and my native tongue wants to come out and play as well. I will post the products of that writing here.

It also serves as proof that I am not faking the accent to:

  • make myself seem more interesting
  • have something to talk about during those awkward pauses in a conversation
  • be able to pretend I have no idea what you just said.

Just in case you were thinking that 😉

However, if you are a fellow countryman or know enough German to follow me: Herzlich Willkommen!

There are two flavors of German I write in:

  • Hochdeutsch – High German that anybody would understand
  • Rhoihessisch – a special tip of the hat to my hometown and its regional dialect. Props to those who have gone before and given me license to write as I would speak at home.
